  Today we filmed in some local neighborhoods! The area by the school is a very well-kept neighborhood. There are a lot of nice shops and restaurants to go to. We started by meeting at the Dairy Queen, and then we walked to find a spot. The place we decided on, I liked because there was a big rock to sit on. We spent some time reviewing the storyboard and checking the script. I play Charlie! We filmed the first few scenes faster than expected. It was so hot though, so we took frequent breaks. We then decided to stop for the day and went to a local restaurant called "What the Pho." We like trying a bunch of foods from different cultures. I got some beef pho, and the broth was actually really different from the place I went to before, so that was a pleasant surprise. Today was a fun day of filming.   Working on a team film project can be an exciting experience. It can also be overwhelming. As a team, you want to make sure that the final product is something that you can all be proud of. One way to ensure this is by working together. I got on the phone with my group members to discuss our progress on the film project. Naturell had all the footage on her phone, but it was a lot to sort through. I offered to help organize and cut the footage to make the editing process smoother. We sent the videos back and forth with each other, discussing which clips were essential to the story and which could be cut. It was a collaborative effort, and we all provided our input to make sure the film was coherent and engaging. I also helped filter the videos to make them look nicer. With some color grading and minor adjustments, we were able to give the footage a more polished look. It was interesting to be on this side of editing.   Today we finally began the filming process of our film ! We went to our local mall to film. The mall is a smaller one making it easier to navigate and set up scenes. It was also quite quiet so we could film without much issue from people shopping.  We spent about 10 minutes looking for our original scene location and quickly located it. We spent some time discussing our manner of walking with made me laugh quite a bit. We settled on our procedures. It only took 3 tries to shoot the scene and got some funny bloopers. After this, we moved on to the filming of the opening sequence.  We filmed us walking further down the mall to Macy's. I was one of the main characters in the film (we are changing names last minute). We then filmed the scenes in the store which involved the introduction of another character.   When it comes to video editing, there are many software options available. Two popular options are DaVinci Resolve and InShot. I used both a few times in the past. InShot was used for a few mini projects when I was in middle school. I used DaVinchi resolve last year twice on my Music video and opening sequence projects.  DaVinci Resolve is a professional-grade software used by Hollywood studios and indie filmmakers. It offers advanced features such as color correction and audio post-production. It has a steep learning curve. I remember when i was learning it i watched guide after guide. It's worth it to learn though, its a very helpful tool.  In contrast, InShot is a more user-friendly option. It is ideal for quick edits on your phone. While it's not as feature-rich as DaVinci Resolve, it's easy to use. Its really great if you have no editing experience. I remember when i first used it when i was in middle school it didn't take long for me to figure it out.   ...

  I'm trying to find some good royalty-free music for my project on YouTube. It's tough to know where to start, as there are so many options to choose from. I'm looking for something that will complement the tone and mood of my video. I start by typing in "royalty-free music" in the search bar. There are so many videos and channels that pop up, I don't know which ones to trust. I decide to filter the search results by view count to see what's popular. I find a few channels that seem to have good options, but some of the music is a bit too upbeat for my video. I'm looking for something more mellow. I also want to make sure that I'm not infringing on any copyrights, so I look for music that has a Creative Commons license. Some of the channels have playlists that are organized by genre, which makes it easier to find what I'm looking for. I listen to a few tracks, but none of them really stand out to me.
