Production: Editing, Progressiong and Complications!

After four days of filming, we thought we were done. We thought we had all the shots but turns out we didn't, ops!

We started editing like normal. Got on the phone just like before. We were cutting and putting together footage like before. I found a really good filter to use. We has some issues with lighting glare outside and it helped clear it up alot. I was once again cutting footage. Constantly sending videos to each other is a little annoying but we couldn’t find another solution.

Eventually we encountered a problem. We were missing clips of one specific scene. I think we might have accidentally deleted them. We have to go film again.

We were a bit disappointed at first that we missed those shots, but we quickly realized that mistakes happen, especially on a hectic film set. We tried not to dwell on it and instead focused on finding a solution. We decided to schedule another day of filming to get those missing shots.

During the reshoot, we made sure to double-check everything to ensure we didn't miss any more shots. It was a bit frustrating to have to take extra time out of our schedules, but we knew it was necessary to make the final product the best it could be.

Once we had all the footage we needed, we got back to editing. We worked efficiently to make up for the time we lost on the reshoot. We were able to use the footage from the first few days of filming as well as the reshoot to create a cohesive story.

I was happy to help my friend with the editing process.

Even though it can be time-consuming, I find it satisfying to see the project come together. It was interesting to see how much goes into making a film, even a short one. It really is a team effort.

In the end, we were all proud of what we created. We were able to overcome the setback of missing footage and still create something we were happy with. It was a valuable learning experience for all of us, and we were grateful to have each other to rely on throughout the process.
