  We decided to do a commercial for NIKE. Specifically, we decided on the Air zoom Pegasus 38 shoes(Mainly because Jorge has a pair). Most NIKE ads show people participating in some form of physical activity like running or playing soccer, really anything they would wear shoes for.  In all the ads we watched the actors wore sporty clothing to further emphasize the activity that this is equipment meant for sport.  The actors often appear sweaty and out of breath. Oftentimes their skin is glistening, further emphasizing their participation in the activities.  Oftentimes there are fast-paced upbeat songs used to convey excitement and energy. It is meant to motivate.  The props usually vary between the ads as the actions taking place often vary greatly. Sometimes there might be a NIKE brand ball or NIKE Clothing, the list goes on and on. Genre Research: Hacksaw Ridge

  Genre Research: Hacksaw Ridge Common CAMS Close ups were often used in this film to potray the characters feelings to the audience and enhance their desperation or love they were showing. Establishing shots were used a few times in this movie to show the grand scope of the location. For example the shot of the climbing rope on the cliffside that looks humongus to them. Two shots were seen all throughout this film and were used to build bonds and relationships with each characters they showed. Common CLAMPS Costumes Were used perfectly in this movie by not using anything flashy and sticking to the era the story takes place in. For example the soldiers outfits in the movie greatly resemble the ones used during the ware itself and the clothing worn by the actors match the time this event took place. Editing: This is fun!

  Today I had more time to just experiment with the editing software as well as edit more of the video. I made sure to call my group members and see if they had any major things they wanted to make sure of.  I finalized all the clips that I edited. I had to re download and re edit a few of the clips, I didn’t know what I was doing the last time at all. I was also better able to organise all the different clips. I also named them better because the names began to confuse me slightly.  After the videos I watched I was much better able to understand how the basic actions of the software are completed. I was able to start the major aspects of the editing like compiling the clips themselves together. I also messed around with the different transitions to see which fit each scene best. The software also offers different  color options, with which I tried them all out just to see what they would do. I might end up using a few of those for the final version of the vide...
