 EXT. THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD - June 25, 2018- DAY 

Neveah and Natalie are walking around their childhood neighborhood and updating each other on their lives 

    

                         Natalie 

              Neveah, I can’t believe you’re back in the 

                Braxton after 10 years, it feels like forever  

                 since I saw you! 

 
 
 

                         Nevaeh 

                 Yeah, the last time we saw each other we were  

              kids, it's refreshing to be back here again though. 

 
 
 

                         Natalie 

               I’m so excited that you’re back I have so much 

              to show you, Braxton isn’t the same like when 

          we were kids. Oh my gosh! Do you remember   

            Valley Mall where we would always get lost? 

 
 

   

                         Neveah 

                Oh yeah! I remember that place, you were always  

                the first one to cry too (laughs) 

 
 
 

Nevaeh and Natalie slowly approach Natalie’s house laughing together. 

 
 

                        Natalie 

              Hey, look, I left my phone inside, I’m going to  

               run in and get it, and then we can hit the road. 

               I miss us! 

    

                         Neveah  

                Okay! 

Natalie dashes into the house and dashes back out the door  

                        Natalie 

                Got it! Let's go.

INT. VALLEY MALL - June 25, 2018 - DAY 

Nevaeh and Natalie are walking through the mall, and Natalie is waving around and pointing out all the new additions to the mall to Neveah in excitement 

 
 

                       Natalie 

                 Neveah look! There’s the new graphic tees place,  

                 around the corner, is the massive food court 

 
 

                       Neveah 

                 Wow! Since when did they have a game shop?! 

                     

                       Natalie 

                I told you that everything changed!(laughs) 

Speaking of which, give me a life update  

                girlie. I saw your post on insta and looks like        

                you have someone your really interested in  

                       

                       Neveah 

Yeah um no we’re not together anymore. 

 
 

                       Natalie 

               What, Why?! You guys looked so cute and happy   

               together 

 

  Neveah 

He cheated on me. Even though i thought we were  

               going great everything seemed perfect and then   

               on our date i saw him-  

 
 

                       Natalie 

                YO! Is that Julie?! I’ll be right back Neveah,    

                I’m going to say hi to Julie real quick 

                       

                       Neveah 

                      Uh-okay 

        

In the middle of the conversation Natalie spots Julie walking into a clothing store and ran up to her in excitement.          

                        

                       Julie 

                 Hey Natalie! What are you doing here?   

                

                       Natalie 

                 Oh, you know just shopping around, and then I  

                 saw you, Oh My Gosh, this shirt looks so cute,       

                 you should definitely try it on! 

 
 

Natalie and Julie walked into the store and began shopping and trying on clothes together and Neveah was left waiting for Natalie’s return 

                

                       Neveah  

Oh wow !! 

(Time laps ensues showing Neveah sitting alone at a table)

EXT. VALLEY MALL - JUNE 25, 2018 - NIGHT 

                       

                       Neveah  

Did you have fun?  

You took a while 

 
 

  Natalie 

Sorry I took so long (sarcastically) 

                   (storms off)

EXT. THE BENCH - PRESENT - DAY 

 
 

Natalie is sitting on a bench at the park. 

 
 

                       Natalie 

                    Back then I should of realized that I was 

                    Completely in the wrong, but I was too  

                    Stubborn to see it that way.

EXT. THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD - JUNE 26, 2018 - DAY 

 
 

Natalie and Neveah are back at the old neighborhood and arguing about what had happened at Valley Mall. 

     

                      Natalie  

                    Hey. 

 
 

                      Neveah 

                    Hey. 

     

                      Natalie 

                    So I feel like you overreacted about the     

                    whole situation at the mall. 

 
 

                      Neveah 

                    What are you talking about?  

                    You left me for hours when we were supposed  

                    to be spending time together, I didn't even  

                    say anything about it.  

 
 

                     Natalie 

                   Really? Because I felt like the sarcasm    

                   wasn’t needed. Julie and I was only gone  

                   for a few and, so what if we got a little   

                   carried away, I told you I’ll be back and I  

                   did come back. 

 
 

                     Neveah 

                   After three hours (mumbling)  

 
 

              Natalie 

                   You want to be like that ok (storms off)  

 
 

                    Neveah  

                  Your being dramatic! 

 
 

                   Natalie 

                  NO I’M NOT! (yells from afar)  

                                           

                                                        CUT TO: 

 
 

EXT. THE BENCH - PRESENT - DAY 

 
 

                

                   Natalie 

                She just seemed so uptight, She needed to        

                loosen up a little, it was starting to not be  

                fun anymore, all we did was fight and everytime  

                I was the bad guy! 

   

                 Ever since we were kids that has always been   

                 the issue, she always played victim. 

 
 

                                                        CUT TO: 

 
 

EXT. THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD - JUNE 26, 2018 - DAY 

  

(Due to inattentiveness cause by her sadness Neveah walking  

across the street while not paying attention to oncoming traffic gets Hit by a car :o) 

 
 

                                                        CUT TO: 

 
 

EXT. THE THERAPIST - PRESENT - DAY  

 
 

It is revealed that Natalie is speaking to her therapist at the park(at the bench) about a past traumatic event that took place with her  childhood friend, Neveah. 

 
 

                          Natalie 

                       Sometimes I think that if I haven’t been   

                       so angry and selfish all the time this   

                       could of been prevented in some way. I  

                      could of handled this better but I didn’t 

 
 

                        Therapist 

                      Don’t blame yourself. It’s not something   

                      that was completely in your control. Sure  

                      that conversation could of differently   

                      but this is the outcome and sometimes all  

                      we can do is accept, move on, and do   

                      better. 

 
 

                        Natatlie 

                      I know…but right now I miss her

Partners, again!

       For the second project we were assigned I decided to work in a group. My group consists of Jorge Lopez, and Christian Bundalevski. I typically like working in group settings because I feel like the different perspectives help provide a better final product. Obviously, I have had group projects in the past that were not so stellar experiences but I feel as if this project will go much more smoothly. Being able to choose groups is very nice as opposed to the teacher deciding.  Jorge Lopez, I have known for many years. We first became friends in the 5th grade and stayed friends all throughout middle school. We ended up going to the same high school together and spent much of last year in discord calls together along with another friend, but that is a story for another day. I have done projects with Jorge in the past and he is very good at coming up with creative ideas. Editing: Experimentation

       Today was the second day we had in class to edit out commercials together. We began by having Rashawn show us what he had so far. He ended up transferring our work to Adobe Premeair cut Pro so we got to see that program too.    We then began to tinker with the lighting a little bit and ended up settling with more lighting than before. We also experimented with different sounds or music clips but we ended up staying with what we had before.    While watching Rashawn edit we all became curious about how the program he uses worked. I am learning a bit of adobe due to my marketing essentials but only the photoshop aspect. I know next to nothing of Premiere Cut Pro. So Rashawn came up with a proposal. He decided to make us a copy file and we each fiddled around with the software a little bit which was quite fun.    We used the lighting options to put a black and white box over our faces and watched some clips play by, that feature was my personal favorite.
