Production Blog: We are ready!!

 Today my partners and I worked to finalize our idea. We changed a few things around. Overall the movie plot is the same as it was before. Young Stephan is the main character; he is a soldier. We changed a few things to add to the specific shots we needed for the film. We also changed the filming location back to emerald hills park. This was done because there is greater access to our basic resources in the area. My grandparents live there. This is helpful because we will be able to get water and other things that we might need. Christain, Jorge, and I will be accompanied by Ty, Griffin, and Graham. They agreed to help assist with the filming process. Griffin and his brother Graham look very similar and will be good to use as an old and young version of Stephan. We decided to go with white shirts and black pants for our costumes. These outfits will look like military troops that are on break. This is the look overall we are going for. We also will use NERF guns instead of real-looking fake guns. We feel this will be more enjoyable with these. I am actually quite excited to film. Now that we have fully decided what we want to do I look forward to getting it out of the way.

Partners, again!

       For the second project we were assigned I decided to work in a group. My group consists of Jorge Lopez, and Christian Bundalevski. I typically like working in group settings because I feel like the different perspectives help provide a better final product. Obviously, I have had group projects in the past that were not so stellar experiences but I feel as if this project will go much more smoothly. Being able to choose groups is very nice as opposed to the teacher deciding.  Jorge Lopez, I have known for many years. We first became friends in the 5th grade and stayed friends all throughout middle school. We ended up going to the same high school together and spent much of last year in discord calls together along with another friend, but that is a story for another day. Production: The final Blog!!!, Film completed !!!

  Working on a short film with a team for class can be both exciting and challenging. You get to collaborate with your classmates and bring your creative visions to life. However, it can also be stressful at times, especially when the deadline is approaching. We kinda cut it a little close but we made it!! But after weeks of hard work and countless late nights, we finally finished our short film! It was an incredible feeling to see our ideas come to life on screen. We were all proud of what we had accomplished together. There were many different roles within our team, from writing the script to filming and editing. We all had to work together and communicate effectively to make sure everything was on track.
