Production Blog: Location Decision

 Today we all decided to do different things. My two partners Christian and Jorge went to look for costume options. They found some great-looking outfits for cheap. I on the other hand was busy with something else. I was looking for and finalizing our filming location. There was a multitude of locations that I considered. After finding all of the possibilities I went to my partners to finalize. 

The first location we considered was a public park nearby to my house. The park has nice trees throughout. This setting is perfect for the forest scenes in our production. There is also a nice lake that could be nice for scenery if we need it. Also, my grandparent's house is nearby so if we need anything like water it is easily accessible. 

A second location I am considering is actually on the beach. This is more of a backup option in case the park doesn’t work out. My friend Titian lives right by the beach and he has said he would help us with out filming stage. He also said he would help me with editing as he is adobe certified. The beach by him is very quiet making it a nice location. As well as it is quiet we are also by his house which gives us access to things like water s well as things to help us incase of a sudden injury. 

Overall I think we are going to go to the park and leave the beach as a last resort.

Partners, again!

       For the second project we were assigned I decided to work in a group. My group consists of Jorge Lopez, and Christian Bundalevski. I typically like working in group settings because I feel like the different perspectives help provide a better final product. Obviously, I have had group projects in the past that were not so stellar experiences but I feel as if this project will go much more smoothly. Being able to choose groups is very nice as opposed to the teacher deciding.  Jorge Lopez, I have known for many years. We first became friends in the 5th grade and stayed friends all throughout middle school. Production: The final Blog!!!, Film completed !!!

  Working on a short film with a team for class can be both exciting and challenging. You get to collaborate with your classmates and bring your creative visions to life. However, it can also be stressful at times, especially when the deadline is approaching. We kinda cut it a little close but we made it!! But after weeks of hard work and countless late nights, we finally finished our short film! It was an incredible feeling to see our ideas come to life on screen. We were all proud of what we had accomplished together. There were many different roles within our team, from writing the script to filming and editing. We all had to work together and communicate effectively to make sure everything was on track.
