Production Blog: Discord

 Today my group mates and I got together. We decided to meet on discord. Discord is a great way to communicate with different people across large distances. I have been using discord for many years. I have even met friends on it I have had for many years as well. It allows one to join servers. These servers even have their own individual channels. They also allow you to join voice channels to have conversations with people. Discord servers can be public. This means that anyone can join. Often times servers are private and you need an invite to join. Discord is free to everyone. We have been using it to communicate for our project. We are easily able to send messages. We also call each other to show different things that we found. We have streamed looking at movie titles to each other. We have also have gotten distracted before. One night we spent an hour talking about a new video game we had just got, we work hard though!! Overall discord has been a major help in our communication and we plan to continue to use it in future.

       For the second project we were assigned I decided to work in a group. My group consists of Jorge Lopez, and Christian Bundalevski. I typically like working in group settings because I feel like the different perspectives help provide a better final product. Obviously, I have had group projects in the past that were not so stellar experiences but I feel as if this project will go much more smoothly. Being able to choose groups is very nice as opposed to the teacher deciding.  Jorge Lopez, I have known for many years. We first became friends in the 5th grade and stayed friends all throughout middle school. Production: The final Blog!!!, Film completed !!!

  Working on a short film with a team for class can be both exciting and challenging. You get to collaborate with your classmates and bring your creative visions to life. However, it can also be stressful at times, especially when the deadline is approaching. We kinda cut it a little close but we made it!! But after weeks of hard work and countless late nights, we finally finished our short film! It was an incredible feeling to see our ideas come to life on screen. We were all proud of what we had accomplished together. There were many different roles within our team, from writing the script to filming and editing. We all had to work together and communicate effectively to make sure everything was on track.
