 Final Task Script:

*Script only includes scenes with dialogue*

Characters:

  • Stephan Smith: Main character of the film, U.S.A soldier.

  • Charles White: Friend of Stephan, also U.S.A army soldier. 

  • Admiral Murphy: Commander of Stephan’s battalion

  • Soldier(s): Excess soldiers that are in the shots. 

  • War room officials: People in the war room with commander murphy. 

  • Military Commander: Unnamed commander of bettalion 12 

Script:

[Sounds of phones ringing and chatter in the room]

Admiral Murphy: (Yelling) “Get me the status of division 12 stat!”

War room official:” Yes commander!”


*Cuts to Stephan in a a forest scouting*

[Stephan picks up his radio and whispers into it]

Stephan Smith: (Whispering): “Commander, I’ve seen some we are close. We can see their artillery, they look ready. What do you think White?”

Charles White: (Whispering): “Smith’s right commander, they look ready to strike at any moment”


*Cuts to soldiers on the ground*

[Soilder picks up a communication device]

Military Commander:”Yes commander?”

Admiral Murphy:(Yelling)” Get your battalion out of there this instant commander!”

Military commander:” Uh alright admiral, but there is nothing to worry about really. We haven’t heard a sound in about 12 hours or so”

Admiral Murphy:”Listen here commander…”


[As he speaks we cut to White and Smith running back to their battalion]

Admirals voice heard as they run back:”My scouts have just informed me that there is a possability of an air strike, leave now”


[Smith and White stop in their tracks and look to the sky]

*The sky is swarmed with planes dropping bombs over the army bettalions in the area*

Stephan:”We were too late…”

Partners, again!

       For the second project we were assigned I decided to work in a group. My group consists of Jorge Lopez, and Christian Bundalevski. I typically like working in group settings because I feel like the different perspectives help provide a better final product. Obviously, I have had group projects in the past that were not so stellar experiences but I feel as if this project will go much more smoothly. Being able to choose groups is very nice as opposed to the teacher deciding.  Jorge Lopez, I have known for many years. We first became friends in the 5th grade and stayed friends all throughout middle school. We ended up going to the same high school together and spent much of last year in discord calls together along with another friend, but that is a story for another day. I have done projects with Jorge in the past and he is very good at coming up with creative ideas. He is also very funny but not overly distracting in a group setting.  Now Christian I have also known for years. W

Editing: Experimentation

       Today was the second day we had in class to edit out commercials together. We began by having Rashawn show us what he had so far. He ended up transferring our work to Adobe Premeair cut Pro so we got to see that program too.    We then began to tinker with the lighting a little bit and ended up settling with more lighting than before. We also experimented with different sounds or music clips but we ended up staying with what we had before.    While watching Rashawn edit we all became curious about how the program he uses worked. I am learning a bit of adobe due to my marketing essentials but only the photoshop aspect. I know next to nothing of Premiere Cut Pro. So Rashawn came up with a proposal. He decided to make us a copy file and we each fiddled around with the software a little bit which was quite fun.    We used the lighting options to put a black and white box over our faces and watched some clips play by, that feature was my personal favorite.
